Dr. Suzanne Li graduated from UT Austin with a bachelor of science in biology with a subspecialty in ecology, evolution, and behavior. She spent her free time working in genetics research and helping rehabilitate wildlife at the Austin Wildlife Rescue. Dr. Li graduated with a doctorate in veterinary medicine at Texas A&M University in 2015. She volunteered throughout school by teaching and promoting science to underprivileged K-12 classrooms.
Dr. Li spent the next 3 years practicing in Arizona to help support her husband during his residency in veterinary neurosurgery. She, her husband, their two dogs (Chubbasaurus Rex and Mr. Darcy), and their cat (Pip Pip) moved to the beautiful Seattle area in 2018 to be close to family. In her spare time, she loves to hike, paint, and volunteer for her community. Dr. Li is passionate about caring for her furry patients and helping their families through all the ups and downs that adopting a pet entails.
