Pet Imaging Services
The doctors at The Animal Hospital of Newport Hills use state-of-the-art digital radiology as an important diagnostic tool to help further define your pet’s condition. When necessary, radiographs can be evaluated by a Board Certified Veterinary Radiologist for an additional fee. This allows for a second opinion to clarify our radiologic findings and recommendations.
When more detailed imaging is required beyond what digital radiology can provide, a Board Certified Veterinary Radiologist is available for ultrasonic imaging of the abdomen and thorax. This allows us a non-invasive, non-painful, highly detailed examination of body cavities and structures. When necessary, ultrasound guided aspirates or biopsies are performed to help provide further diagnostic information about your pet’s condition. Ultrasounds are available by appointment at The Animal Hospital of Newport Hills.
